The fact being (as I read through the history), that a mixture of handmade spices that are still prepared by Mrs.Rukmani (Wife of Mr.Kuppanna) are added which gives the authenticity in flavour.

The first sight that’s fulfilling about the Chicken biryani is the Seeraga samba rice that is used for preparation. Since I belong to the areas of Madurai and Dindugul (the native lands of seeraga samba rice), this kind of biryani has always been my favourite and I have grown up cherishing the gastronomic delight of having them. There is this unique flavour and aroma the rice has, which makes them truly a stand-out variety.

Here too, at junior Kuppanna, you get a plate of fluffy and fragrant Seeraga samba rice served on a banana leaf. The rice is cooked Al-dente, firm to bite and perfectly clinging to meat.

It is garnished with a good number of Cashews and well-balanced with a thick good sized onion-cut Raitha, a full boiled egg and a tasty gravy. The chicken provided is succulent and well cooked.

They serve full and half plates, half plate priced at Rs.125, full at 210, the difference being the quantity of rice and chicken. For a half plate of 131 bucks(Along with the GST :P), rice is less with one chicken piece only :/ This is decent for moderate hunger.
